Eden Cerified Organic Mugi Miso (soybean and barley) is aged for 18 months in cedar kegs under pressure from stones. It can be enjoyed every day in soups, sauces and vegetable dishes.Contains about 20 servings.

Ingredients: Organic soybeans, organic barley, water, koji (aspergillus oryzae), and sea salt
Basic Miso Soup:
"Wakame" seaweed, amount you desire.
4 cups water.
1-1/2 to 3 Tbsp Eden organic Hacho Miso dissolved in 2 Tbls. water.
2 green onions, chopped finely.
Rinse wakame; cover with water and soak 5 minutes. Remove rib and dice. Meanwhile bring 4 cups water to a boil, add wakame, and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from beat and add dissolved miso. Do not boil miso. Garnish with onions and serve.
Miso Marinade:
2 Tbls. Eden organic Hacho Miso
1 to 2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 tsp. grated ginger
1 tsp. rice vinegar
1/2 cup water
Combine all ingredients and use as a marinade.
