Shelf Life - 9 to 12 months at room temperature.
To prepare
1. Cut 2-3 lbs. lean beef (chicken, lamb or medium whole shrimp) into cubes and finely chop 4 large onions.
2. In large skillet, cook meat and onion in oil or butter, stirring until onion is lightly browned, about 3 minutes. If desired add carrots, celery, bell pepper or other vegetables.
3. Add 6 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 15 minutes.
4. Break Golden Curry Sauce Mix into mixture, stirring constantly until completely melted. Simmer 5 minutes.
5. Serve hot over rice or noodles. 8-1/2 oz package makes 12 (1 cup each) servings.
Unused portion of curry sauce mix may be refrigerated until used. |
